Lydia Mushili is an African American Illustrator and tattoo apprentice based in Los Angeles. Their strengths lie in visually driven storytelling and portraiture.
Color and texture are very important to their work, and the elements they spend the most time considering. Lydia tries their best to merge the traditional painting style textures with the intense colors associated with the digital medium. Occasionally they experiment with watercolor and color pencil collages. Lydia’s art is influenced by femme imagery, psychological elements, art deco, and Eastern Asian traditional print styles.
